Late-Night Food in Cubao: What Is Open After 10pm

After 10 PM in Cubao, the kitchens still going are Grace Park and Silingan Coffee until 11 PM daily, Habanero Kitchen Bar until 11 PM from Friday to Sunday, and Ichiban Takoyaki until midnight, or 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. For a 24 hours restaurant in Quezon City, the nearest thing here is Farmers Market, which never closes.

Why 10 PM is the line

Araneta City's mall hours end at 9 PM from Sunday to Thursday and 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Most restaurants in Gateway Mall and Ali Mall keep those hours. A few places stop at exactly 10 PM: Le Bistro daily, Vikings Luxury Buffet at the end of its dinner service, and World Kitchens from Sunday to Thursday. After that, the list is short.

Open until 11 PM

• Grace Park, ground floor of Gateway Mall 2. Filipino farm-to-table cooking, 10 AM to 11 PM daily, at ₱500 to ₱1,500 a head. This is the one mall restaurant that is open until 11 PM every night.
• Habanero Kitchen Bar, Cubao Expo. Oyster sisig and a torched three-cheese pizza until 11 PM from Friday to Sunday. From Tuesday to Thursday it closes at 10 PM, and it is shut on Mondays.
• Silingan Coffee, Cubao Expo. Coffee and simple rice meals until 11 PM every day, with no alcohol. Under ₱500.
• World Kitchens, Level 4 of Gateway Mall 2. A food hall of 15 show kitchens, open until 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays only.
• Ichiban Takoyaki, Cubao Expo, on Sundays, when it closes at 11 PM.

For coffee without a meal, The Brewman Coffee in Cubao Expo is also open until 11 PM, Tuesday to Sunday.

Open until midnight or later

Ichiban Takoyaki is the most dependable late bite: a takoyaki stall open until midnight from Monday to Thursday and until 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays, under ₱500 a head.

Cubao X Brewery is open until midnight daily but has no kitchen, so bring food in from the neighbours. The takoyaki stall and the taproom work as a pair.

Three more may run late, and each needs a look at its own page before a hungry group walks over:

• Best of Luck serves Hong Kong-style Chinese plates and is closed Mondays.
• Fred's Revolucion has Ho Chi Wings and craft beer.
• The Edge Skyview Bar, the rooftop bar at ibis Styles, opens at 5:30 PM and has an Edge Smash Burger.

Open all night

Farmers Market and the flower shops beside it stay open around the clock, and neither is a restaurant in the usual sense.

Farmers Market is open around the clock. Dampa sa Farmers Market is the section where you buy seafood at the market stalls and have it cooked for the table, paluto style. Farmers Garden, beside the market, has flower shops open 24 hours. That feeds nobody, but it is worth knowing at 1 AM on an anniversary.

Feeding a barkada late

For a group, these three take big groups:

• Fridays and Saturdays before 11 PM: World Kitchens. Fifteen kitchens means nobody has to agree on a cuisine.
• Any night before midnight: Cubao X Brewery, with one or two people sent ahead to the takoyaki stall to carry food in.
• Seafood for the table: Dampa sa Farmers Market, where the group picks seafood at the market and has it cooked.

The rooftop bar takes reservations. For the rest, the planning is in the timing.

If the group wants something to do while deciding, Paeng's Gateway Bowl in Gateway Mall 2 has lanes until midnight.
