Restaurants in Cubao by Budget: Under ₱500 to ₱1,500 and Up

Restaurants in Cubao fall into three price ranges: four places under ₱500 a head, fourteen at ₱500 to ₱1,500, and three at ₱1,500 and up. Choose the range first, then the building, because Cubao Expo, Ali Mall and the Gateway malls are about 5 to 12 minutes apart on foot.

Restaurants in Cubao under ₱500 a head

• Best of Luck, Cubao Expo. Hong Kong-style Chinese plates over two floors of two-seat tables. Siomai was ₱168 and beef tendon noodles ₱288 in 2024. Closed on Mondays; go after 4 PM.
• Food Express, Level 3, Gateway Mall 1. A food court with stalls such as Bebang Halo-Halo, Sisig Hooray and Salo Lechon Belly Kitchen. Walk in, mall hours.
• Silingan Coffee, Cubao Expo. Coffee and simple rice meals from 9 AM to 11 PM daily, with no alcohol.
• Ichiban Takoyaki, Cubao Expo. A takoyaki stall that opens at 3 PM from Monday to Saturday and 2 PM on Sunday, for a snack between stops.

₱500 to ₱1,500 a head

This is the largest range, so it is sorted by building.

Cubao Expo

• Habanero Kitchen Bar. Oyster sisig, a torched three-cheese pizza and habanero cocktails. Look for the Oyster Sisig (₱395 in 2024). Closed on Mondays.
• Bellini's. An Italian kitchen with truffle ravioli, burrata and tiramisu. Open daily until 9:30 PM, and it takes reservations through its Facebook or Instagram page.

Ali Mall, ground floor

• Gerry's Grill. A Filipino grill.
• Romantic Baboy. Unlimited Korean barbecue.
• Cabalen. A Filipino buffet.

Gateway Mall 2

• Grace Park, ground floor. Filipino farm-to-table cooking, with soy garlic lamb chops and Negros organic lechon on the menu. Open until 11 PM daily and pet-friendly.
• Din Tai Fung, ground floor. A Taiwanese restaurant.
• Mamou, ground floor. Steak and comfort food.
• Palenque, Upper Ground B. A regional Filipino food hall with stalls such as Palm Grill and Nasi by Bale Dutung. Walk in, no booking needed.
• Vikings Luxury Buffet, Upper Ground B. An international buffet with a carving station. Lunch 11 AM to 2:30 PM, dinner 5:30 PM to 10 PM, and it takes reservations.
• Dookki, Upper Ground B. Unlimited cook-it-yourself tteokbokki and Korean hotpot.
• World Kitchens, Level 4. A food hall of 15 show kitchens. From Monday to Thursday it closes between 3 PM and 5:30 PM.

Gateway Mall 1 and the hotel above the Gateway expansion

• Mama Lou's Italian Kitchen, Level 2, Gateway Mall 1. An Italian restaurant.
• Le Bistro, ground floor of ibis Styles. A French restaurant with escargot, beef bourguignon and duck leg confit à l'orange. Open from 10 AM to 10 PM daily.

Unless a line says otherwise, these keep mall hours: 10 AM to 9 PM from Sunday to Thursday, and 10 AM to 10 PM on Friday and Saturday.

₱1,500 and up a head

• Wolfgang's Steakhouse, Upper Ground and Upper Ground B, Gateway Mall 2. A steakhouse on mall hours.
• Food Exchange Manila, at Novotel. The hotel's international buffet, with three hours of free parking for diners. Dinner runs from Monday to Thursday.
• MŌDAN, 20th Ave, a short ride from Araneta City. Chef Jorge Mendez's modern Japanese tasting menu in a 12-seat room. Seatings are at 5:30 PM and 8:30 PM from Wednesday to Sunday, and a reservation is required.

These three start at ₱1,500 a head, so budget for that before planning an anniversary around one of them.

Two that do not fit a range

Dampa sa Farmers Market does not fit a range because the bill depends on what you buy: seafood from the market stalls, cooked for the table paluto style.

Wolfgang's Premiere Lounge is a dine-in cinema on Level 4 of Gateway Mall 2, not a restaurant, but its ticket covers both halves of a night: the Ticket with a burger or sandwich (₱990 in 2025).

How to read the ranges

The ranges are per head, per stop. A night out usually has two or three stops, so a ₱500 to ₱1,500 dinner followed by a bar is a larger number than the dinner alone.

Dish prices here carry their year, so treat them as a guide. If the budget is exact, check the menu before you sit down.
