Staycation in Pasay: An Anniversary at Conrad Manila
For an anniversary staycation in Pasay, Conrad Manila puts the whole evening under one roof: dinner at China Blue by Jereme Leung, then the bay panorama and live entertainment at C Lounge until midnight, or 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. The hotel is on Seaside Blvd in the MOA Complex, so the next morning's rooftop walk and museum are in the same complex.
What the hotel offers
Conrad Manila is a bay-view hotel with a pool bar, on Seaside Blvd. A hotel dinner and a hotel bar are both ₱1,500 and up a head, and the room is on top of that.
Check the hotel's own page for room rates. When you book, ask which room categories face the bay, and ask for one of them.
A typical night at the mall runs ₱700 to ₱1,500 a head. A hotel dinner and a hotel bar are the expensive end of MOA, so budget for that instead.
The evening, in order
- Check in and do nothing. An anniversary staycation is mostly about having nowhere to be. The pool bar is the first stop.
- Sunset. The Seaside Blvd esplanade is an open walk for the Manila Bay sunset, on the same boulevard as the hotel, and it is free. It depends on the weather. On a grey evening, stay in.
- Dinner at China Blue by Jereme Leung. It is Chinese fine dining with bay views and private rooms, on the Michelin Selected list. Mention the anniversary when you book, and ask for the bay side.
- C Lounge after dinner. The hotel bar has a bay panorama and live entertainment.
- Upstairs. The lift is the ride home.
Why Friday or Saturday. The lounge closes at midnight on most nights and at 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. That extra hour is the difference between one drink after a long dinner and a proper end to the night.
The morning after
A staycation needs one easy thing to do before checkout, and the MOA Complex has two.
MOA Sky is a free rooftop park on SM MOA with viewing decks, a 1 km track and an amphitheater, opened on 25 February 2025. A lap of the track is the walk that breakfast needs.
Museo del Galeón opened on 1 May 2026 at Seaside Blvd corner Sunset Ave. It has a full-scale 17th-century galleon, and visitors go aboard. It is ticketed and indoors, at about ₱500 to ₱1,500 a head. Check its page for opening hours before you plan around it.
Bo's Coffee inside the mall is the coffee stop between them.
A lower-cost version
The room is the fixed cost. Dinner is where the evening can be trimmed.
Eat inside SM MOA at ₱500 to ₱1,500 a head: Café Adriatico is a bistro serving adobo rice and palabok, and The Aristocrat, a restaurant that dates from 1936, serves chicken barbecue and java rice. Then come back for one drink at the lounge, where the panorama is the same whatever dinner cost.
Every price tier for the complex is in MOA restaurants by budget.
What to book
- The room, with the bay-view question answered.
- The dinner table, on the bay side.
- Nothing else. The esplanade and the rooftop are free and unbookable.
An overnight plan that is live now
The planner covers Cubao now, and the Pasay Bay Area is next; see the areas page. In Cubao the planner already has a "Stay the night" option and an anniversary occasion, whose line is a proper dinner and one thoughtful extra. Cubao's hotels are compared in hotels in Cubao for a staycation.
For the occasion itself, read the anniversary guide, or see three budgets side by side in anniversary date ideas in Manila.
The planner covers Cubao now. Pasay Bay Area is next, and this post is written from the same kind of checked list.
