Gallery by Chele for an Anniversary: Cost and Booking

Gallery by Chele is a one-Michelin-star restaurant on the fifth floor of Clipp Center in BGC, with tasting menus priced at ₱5,000 to ₱7,500. For an anniversary, that means ₱10,000 to ₱15,000 for two menus before drinks, a booking made well ahead, and an evening planned around one long dinner.

The cost for two

Start with the menus.

• Two menus at the low end of the range: ₱10,000.
• Two at the high end: ₱15,000.

Then the extras. Ask whether the price includes service charge and what drinks cost, and add both before deciding which menu to take.

For scale, a typical BGC night runs ₱1,200 to ₱3,000 a head. This dinner is several times that. An anniversary is a fair reason for it, but go in knowing the full number.

How to book

Book before arranging anything else. The table is the part of the night that has to be locked in first.

Ask these in one message:

1. Which tasting menus are offered on the date, and at what price each.
2. Whether both people must order the same menu.
3. Whether service charge is included, and what a drinks pairing costs.
4. How long the menu takes, start to finish.
5. Whether allergies and dislikes can be handled, with the specifics.
6. Whether there is a deposit, and what the cancellation terms are.
7. Whether the kitchen does anything for an anniversary.

The fourth answer matters for the rest of the plan. Do not book anything after dinner until the length of the menu is known.

Building the evening around it

A tasting menu is the main event. Everything else should be light.

Before: a free hour on foot. The ArtBGC murals run on two mapped routes of 10 and 12 works between Burgos Circle and Serendra. They are outdoors and free. Open the map to judge the walk from there to 11th Ave, and leave a margin. Turning up flustered to a dinner at this price would be a waste.

After: one drink, somewhere that runs late. Two options, both late-night bars.

• The Peak, the rooftop bar on floors 60 to 62 of the Grand Hyatt, billed as the country's highest. It is ₱1,500 and up a head, so allow ₱3,000 or more for two. The sums are in BGC's rooftop bar, costed.
• The Back Room, a 1920s-style gin speakeasy inside Shangri-La The Fort, named in Tatler Best Bars 2026. It is ₱500 to ₱1,500 a head.

Overnight, for a milestone. Shangri-La The Fort sits at 30th St corner 5th Ave: 576 rooms, the Kerry Sports club and eight food and drink outlets.

Rain

The restaurant is indoors on the fifth floor, so the dinner is safe. The mural walk is not. BGC's High Street spine is open-air and rain is the area's weak point, so on a wet evening drop the walk and go straight to the table. Both after-dinner bars are indoors or have indoor space.

If the number is too high

There is no shame in deciding ₱10,000 is not this year's anniversary. BGC has four restaurants with a Michelin Bib Gourmand at ₱500 to ₱1,500 a head: Em Hà Nội, COCHI, Bolero and Los Tacos MNL. Dinner at one of them and a drink on the rooftop comes to roughly ₱4,000 to ₱6,000 and up for two.
