Salcedo Restaurants for a Quiet Date, by Closing Time

Three Salcedo restaurants suit a date, and what separates them is how late they run: Kodawari until 11pm, Taquería Franco to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and Pablo Bistro until midnight. Nothing about these rooms promises silence, so a quiet table comes from the hour you book and what you ask for.

Getting a quiet table

A few habits matter more than the restaurant.

  • Book early. A 6:30pm table gives you the room before it fills.
  • Ask for the table. Say it is a date and ask for a table for two away from large groups.
  • Mind the group table. Pablo Bistro takes big groups, so expect birthdays and group dinners to choose it. Ask for a table for two when you book.

The three restaurants

Kodawari, at Adamson Centre on LP Leviste. An izakaya known for gyudon, Michelin Selected, open until 11pm. It runs ₱500 to ₱1,500 a head. With an 11pm close, the last comfortable booking is around 8:30pm.

Taquería Franco, at LPL Center on San Agustin St. French-accented tacos with a Michelin Bib Gourmand. It is open to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and it costs ₱500 to ₱1,500 a head. On other nights, look at its own page for the closing time.

Pablo Bistro, at Picasso Boutique, 119 LP Leviste. Tapas, paella and sangria until midnight, Michelin Selected. It is the priciest of the three at ₱1,500 and up a head, and it runs late.

Two of the three share a street: Kodawari and Pablo Bistro are both on LP Leviste, and Taquería Franco is on San Agustin St. Salcedo's villages have shaded sidewalks and parks, which makes for an easy walk after dinner in dry weather.

Picking by the hour

Dinner at 6:30pm or 7pm, home by 10pm. Kodawari. The earliest close of the three suits an early evening. On a weeknight it is also the safer pick, because the taco kitchen's midnight close applies on Fridays and Saturdays only.

Dinner at 9pm on a Friday or Saturday. Taquería Franco. Most kitchens in the business district close at 10 to 11pm, so a midnight close gives a late start room to breathe.

A long, late dinner. Pablo Bistro. It serves until midnight, and sangria at the table means there is no need to find a bar afterwards.

A glass after

Good Morning Wines is a Salcedo wine bar named in Tatler Best Bars 2026, at ₱500 to ₱1,500 a head.

A wine bar suits a quiet date better than a ride to Poblacion would. Bars in the business district close at 1 to 2am, while Poblacion's run until between 2am and 4am and suit a louder night. If that is the night you want, it is in the Poblacion bar crawl.

Dinner at a mid-range table and a glass after comes to ₱1,000 to ₱3,000 a head. That sits inside the ₱1,200 to ₱3,500 a business-district night usually costs.

If it rains

All four are indoors. The villages are moderately rain-proof, which is better than Poblacion and not as good as Greenbelt, where covered walkways link the malls. On a wet night, choose one restaurant and stay, or take the date to a Greenbelt cinema evening.

More of Salcedo

Salcedo has a daytime date too. Salcedo Saturday Market is a farmers' and food market that runs on Saturdays from about 7am to 2pm. The plan around it is in a morning date at the Salcedo market.
